Our Top Tips for Landing a Work Experience Placement
Securing work experience with a well-known company can be competitive. Here are four tips to help strengthen your application:
- Tailor your communication. Ensure that each application is unique, especially if applying for multiple positions.
- Highlight your limited experience. Emphasize what you have done and look for innovative ways to showcase learnings from outside-of-school activities.
- Be proactive. Reach out to companies directly if you have questions about specific requirements.
- Consider volunteer work or virtual experience to enhance your skills and strengthen your application.
