Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
- Wiring electrical assemblies and preparing cables following diagrams and customer specifications
- Uploading configurations, setting up test systems, and supporting testing of protection and control systems
- Working as part of the Testing and Wiring Team, collaborating with other departments like project delivery and sales
- Learning to use engineering software, testing tools, and processes to help deliver solutions
- Assisting with factory and site testing, installation, and commissioning activities
- Taking responsibility for small projects and helping improve how we work
