Level 3 Optical Assistant Apprentice required. Our apprenticeship gives people a chance to start an exciting career, while earning a full-time wage. Duties: booking eye tests, pre-screening, recommending suitable frames. Looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about providing great customer service and would like to pursue a career in optics.
Work Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You\’ll learn on the job by getting hands‐on experience.
What you\’ll do at work By giving customers top‐notch advice (as well as a warm welcome to the store)
Booking in eye tests
Pre‐screening patients and measuring frames
You\’ll also make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible by looking out for any little problems that crop up
