    About the team

    You’ll work in one of our operational sites – the heart of Amazon’s customer experience – leading and developing teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. Our operations include everything from fulfilment centres and delivery stations to corporate support teams. While you’ll be placed within a specific site, you’ll collaborate with leaders across Amazon’s network to share ideas and best practices. Successful apprentices may progress into management roles across our operations network or other business functions, continuing to grow their leadership and business expertise within Amazon.

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications: To qualify for this programme, you must:

    • Be a UK national, a non-UK national with the right to work in the UK, or an EU national with settled status in the UK.
    • Have lived in the UK, an EEA country, or a British Overseas Territory for 3 years or more prior to commencing the apprenticeship (September 2026).
    • Have the right to live and work in England (if you are on a visa, this needs to enable you to legally work and reside in England for the entire duration of the programme until March 2029).
    • Be resident in the UK for the entire duration of the programme.
    • Not be registered on another UK government-funded course ending August 2026 or later.
    • Be 18 years old or older before entering an Amazon building (September 2026).
    • Have at least 5 GCSEs C grade (grade 4) or above including Maths and English.
    • Have 3 A Levels at grade C or above (or equivalent).
    • Have at least 2 years’ supervisory experience (essential), including experience overseeing projects, operations, budgets, or teams – with accountability for delivery, outcomes, and performance. Direct line management is not required, but you must demonstrate clear ownership and oversight beyond individual contribution.

    Please note: If you have qualifications outside the UK, a Statement of Comparability is required (UK ENIC) during the application process. Previous qualifications will be reviewed for funding eligibility and offers are subject to funding approval. This position is a 30-month fixed-term contract and you must not already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship. This Apprenticeship assumes the candidate has little or no knowledge/experience of the occupation.
