We are looking for an enthusiastic Logistics Coordinator to join the Expo & Events Road Logistics team in Birmingham. This entry‑level training role will support our sales and business development team and contribute to the delivery of logistics solutions for exhibitions and events worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the sales and business development team with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Be the first point of contact for clients, managing initial relationships and working with the team to close business.
  • Coordinate all phases of the shipment cycle, ensuring that documentation and critical information are in place.
  • Liaise with all relevant parties to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Respond to team requests promptly and manage any arising issues.
  • Support internal teams to align on event objectives and logistics.
  • Assist in tracking event expenses and managing budgets to ensure cost‑effective solutions.
  • Handle queries from colleagues and suppliers.
  • Support the team in finance requests, including raising, tracking and invoicing customers.

Qualifications

  • Entry level – training provided.
  • Willingness to learn and develop logistics skills.
  • Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of customs, shipping and event logistics is an advantage.

Additional Information

This role does not meet the minimum requirements for visa sponsorship or apprenticeship funding. Candidates must have been resident in the EEA for at least the last three years. Location: Birmingham. If you are already qualified or experienced in this area, other vacancies may be more suitable.
