About the job

We're a fast-growing, premium body care brand, based in the UK. Data isn't a bolt-on for us, it's native to how we operate, and we're hiring someone to help build that out properly. This is a hands-on builder role, we want working systems in the hands of our operators, not strategies on a slide deck. You'll work alongside our departmental leads to ship fast. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the models that power decision-making across the business. From customer acquisition and attribution, to retention, subscriptions, forecasting, and operational reporting, you will transform complex data into trusted, scalable systems that teams rely on every day.

Working directly with leadership, marketing, operations, and finance, you’ll help define how we measure the business, uncover opportunities for growth, and build the foundations that enable better decisions at every level of the company.

What You’ll Do

  • Customer & Marketing Analytics
    • Build customer journey models that connect marketing activity to customer behaviour and purchases
    • Define and develop attribution frameworks that go beyond platform-reported metrics
    • Build customer segmentation and audience models
    • Develop models that capture and analyse customer behaviour across the website, including page journeys, time on site, product interactions, add-to-cart events, checkout behaviour and conversion funnels
    • Improve our understanding of customer acquisition, retention and lifetime value
    • Support marketing teams with audience creation, campaign analysis and performance measurement
  • Analytics Engineering
    • Build and maintain dbt models in BigQuery
    • Develop clean, reliable datasets for reporting and analysis
    • Improve data quality, testing and documentation across the warehouse
    • Support integration of new ecommerce, marketing and operational data sources
    • Help establish best practices for analytics engineering, deployment and development workflows
  • Reporting & Insights
    • Build dashboards and reporting for commercial, marketing and operational teams
    • Investigate business questions using SQL and warehouse data
    • Translate analysis into clear recommendations and actionable insights
    • Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency and optimisation

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience working with dbt or similar transformation frameworks
  • Experience working with a modern cloud data warehouse (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift or Databricks)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience building reporting and analytical datasets for business users
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience translating business requirements into scalable data models

Nice to Have

  • Experience in ecommerce, DTC or subscription businesses
  • Experience working with Shopify and marketing platforms such as Meta, Google Ads or Klaviyo
  • Familiarity with attribution, customer journey analysis, retention and lifetime value modelling
  • Experience with BI tools such as Looker Studio, Sigma, Tableau, Power BI or ThoughtSpot
  • Experience working in a fast-moving startup or scale-up environment

What We Offer

  • A visible role with direct access to leadership and the opportunity to shape how data is used across the business
  • Ownership of meaningful projects with real commercial impact
  • The opportunity to build and improve a modern analytics stack from the ground up
  • Exposure to AI-native ways of working and the latest analytics tooling
  • Primarily remote working, with occasional visits to our office in Bingley
  • Competitive salary dependent on experience
  • A fast-moving environment with significant room for growth and progression
