Besque is looking for an experienced, creative and passionate designer to join our creative team and take ownership of design execution across brand, digital, web and packaging. We are looking for a strong multidisciplinary designer with significant experience in beauty, skincare, wellness or premium consumer brands. You will work from strategic briefs, brand direction and creative concepts and be responsible for translating them into polished, commercially effective design across multiple touchpoints.
What You’ll Do
- Translate strategic and creative briefs into high-quality design execution
- Design across branding, ecommerce, web, packaging and digital campaigns
- Design and develop ecommerce experiences, landing pages and web components in Figma
- Create and evolve visual identities, brand systems and design guidelines
- Design packaging across new product launches, product extensions and existing ranges
- Develop campaign identities and key visual systems
- Create digital assets across website, email, social and marketing channels
- Take projects from initial creative direction through to polished final execution
- Work confidently with typography, imagery, product photography, layout and visual hierarchy
- Build reusable components and scalable design systems within Figma
- Collaborate closely with creative, marketing, ecommerce and product teams
- Maintain a consistently high visual standard across every customer touchpoint
- Manage multiple projects and priorities within a fast-moving remote environment
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience as a Senior Designer, Multidisciplinary Designer, Brand Designer or equivalent
- Significant professional experience within beauty, skincare, cosmetics, wellness or premium consumer brands
- A portfolio demonstrating exceptional work across brand, web and packaging
- Advanced Figma skills are essential
- Strong experience designing ecommerce and digital experiences
- Strong understanding of responsive web design and digital UX principles
- Excellent typography, composition, layout and visual hierarchy skills
- Strong branding and visual identity experience
- Strong packaging design experience, including understanding how designs translate into physical production
- Ability to take a strategic brief and independently turn it into a considered visual solution
- Excellent attention to detail and a highly developed aesthetic eye
- Comfortable presenting and explaining design decisions
- Able to take creative direction without requiring constant oversight
- Comfortable working across multiple disciplines rather than specialising in only one area
Strong Advantage If You Have
- Experience working for a recognised beauty or skincare brand
- Experience within premium or luxury beauty
- Experience designing for high-growth DTC or ecommerce brands
- Experience creating or evolving complete brand design systems
- Experience designing Shopify or other ecommerce experiences
- Experience working closely with developers and understanding design handoff
- Experience with packaging production, print specifications and artwork preparation
- Strong Figma and Adobe Creative Suite skills
- Experience incorporating AI tools into professional design workflows
- Experience with motion, animation or other digital creative disciplines
Who You Are
You are a multidisciplinary designer with exceptional taste and a strong understanding of the beauty category. You have a strong ability to translate strategic briefs and target market understanding into functional yet memorable design and experiences. You are equally comfortable designing a premium product page in Figma, developing packaging for a new product, refining a visual identity or creating the design system for a new campaign. You do not need every design decision prescribed to you. Give you the strategic objective, brief, brand direction and references, and you can develop the execution independently. You understand how to balance brand, aesthetics, usability and commercial objectives rather than designing purely for visual appeal. You are meticulous about detail, highly organised and capable of maintaining a consistently high standard while working across multiple projects. Most importantly, you care deeply about design and want to help build a distinctive beauty brand across every visual touchpoint.
