Besque is building more than a skincare brand. We’re building a movement around confidence, body care, and self-worth for women who expect more from the brands they support.

We’re looking for a Community Lead to own the design, build, and growth of our digital community from the ground up. This role is for someone who understands that community is not about posting content; it’s about connection, belonging, and turning customers into advocates.

What You’ll Do
  • Design and build Besque’s digital community
  • Help shape the structure, platform(s), tone, rituals, and rules of the community
  • Turn our customers into an engaged, active, and emotionally invested group
  • Create engagement that actually matters
  • Design prompts, challenges, discussions, events, and formats that spark conversation
  • Encourage user-generated content, peer-to-peer interaction, and repeat participation
  • Own the community experience
  • Welcome new members, nurture power users, and make members feel seen
  • Moderate discussions and maintain a high-trust, positive environment
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally
  • Feed insights, language, objections, and emotional triggers back to marketing, product, and CX
  • Work closely with marketing
  • Align community initiatives with launches, campaigns, and offers
  • Support influencer, affiliate, and referral efforts through community activation
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience building communities for ecommerce or DTC brands
  • You’ve grown and managed communities on platforms like Circle, Mighty Networks, Facebook Groups or similar
  • You can point to real outcomes (engagement, retention, UGC, advocacy, revenue influence)
  • Strong community intuition
  • You understand psychology, group dynamics, and what makes people want to participate
  • You know how to move members from lurkers to contributors to advocates
  • Excellent written communication
  • You can sound human, warm, and emotionally intelligent — not “brand-bot”
  • You know how to adapt tone to different personalities and situations
  • Self-starter mindset
  • Comfortable building from scratch without a rigid playbook
  • You experiment, test, learn, and iterate fast
  • Bonus points if you have experience in beauty, skincare, wellness, or female-focused brands
  • Experience tying community efforts to LTV, retention, or referrals
Why Besque?
  • You’ll help build something meaningful from the ground up
  • Real ownership over how the community is designed and evolves
  • A brand that genuinely listens to its customers
  • Fast-moving, ambitious team with high standards and creative freedom
