Our client is looking for a skilled Writer / Researcher to join their global architecture practice and help craft clear, compelling content that communicates their work, ideas, and design approach. This role suits someone with a background in journalism, architecture communications, or editorial writing, who can translate complex information into engaging, accessible stories. Our client has an extremely warm and collaborative working environment, based in the heart of London, working alongside some of those most talented contacts in the industry. This role is 5 days in the office.

Duties

  • Write and edit a range of content including web stories, project descriptions, articles, reviews, and press materials.
  • Support presentations and awards submissions with concise, well-structured narrative and research.
  • Conduct research into projects, materials, design trends, and architectural context to strengthen storytelling.
  • Collaborate with architects and project teams to develop accurate and insightful written content.
  • Adapt tone and style to align with the practice's brand, voice, and layout standards.
  • Assist with organising and structuring information for internal and external presentations.

Requirements

  • Strong writing background - ideally from journalism, architecture communication, or related fields.
  • Genuine interest in architecture, design, and the built environment.
  • Ability to translate technical details into clear, engaging narratives.
  • Excellent editing, research, and organisational skills.
