Bid Manager

My client, a highly respected firm in the Architecture and Design, is looking for aBid Manager to join their team and drive success in securing new business.

About the Role

As the go-to expert for bid management, you’ll work closely with business leaders and subject matter experts to craft compelling proposals that stand out. Your role will be key in developing and executing bid strategies, managing the proposal process, and ensuring submissions align with business objectives and client needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborating with leadership to develop winning bid strategies
• Managing the end-to-end bid process, including go/no-go decisions, timelines, and submissions
• Conducting market and competitor research to inform proposal approaches
• Creating and refining high-quality bid documents, ensuring clarity, compliance, and a persuasive edge
• Overseeing proposal design, content, and layout within brand guidelines
• Coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality
• Tracking and analyzing bid performance to improve future efforts

What We’re Looking For

• A background in bid/proposal management, marketing, or business development
• Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
• A keen eye for design and branding (experience with InDesign is a plus!)
• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across teams
• Experience in the A/E/C industry (or similar) is preferred but not essential
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
