Leading, Cambridge based practice has an exciting and rare opening for an innovative design focused, Associate to lead the team on large-scale commercial schemes from Cambridge to London, and beyond. In this exciting role you will operate as an important member of the practice’s management team taking a position just beneath the partners, it is a fantastic opportunity for career growth. Being responsible for setting the teams architectural agenda across creative and delivery processes, while facilitating and championing innovation and team organisation and resourcing.

This nationally renowned practice would like to receive candidates from diverse experience backgrounds. You will need to have assembled a ‘commercial architectural excellence’ portfolio of elite design projects and their delivery. Sectors could include residential, hospitality, commercial or mixed use as examples. The remuneration package is strong and aligned with the role as a project & practice leader. Key responsibilities

  • Architectural design flair

  • Manage both internal team and consultants

  • To work within the senior leadership team across practice.

  • Be responsible for a project fees/resourcing and practice management.

  • Client facing and engagement skills and experience.

  • Fully qualified architect with Part III

  • Experience running cutting-edge large commercial schemes

Excellent communication skills and proven experience of mentoring and developing your team.
