The role of Client Manager is to deliver desk-based financial advice, managing an established client bank and expanding a portfolio of clients with assets typically up to £250,000. The role focuses on building relationships and delivering targeted, expert advice, designed to facilitate efficient, high-quality service for clients with straightforward financial planning needs. This is a hybrid role, based in the Nottingham office 3 days per week and WFH 2 days per week.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and develop a client portfolio, typically comprising clients with assets up to £250,000.
- Offer tailored financial advice across investments, pensions, and protection.
- Cultivate strong client relationships, generating new business and securing referrals from satisfied clients.
- Uphold high compliance standards, adhering to FCA regulations.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a cohesive and responsive client service.
Ideal Candidate: Skills and Experience
- Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.
- Proven track record of advising clients virtually or desk-based within a similar asset range.
- Demonstrable ability to build rapport and trust with clients, particularly through remote interactions.
- Strong understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements.
