We are a growing business specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of high‑quality kitchens, bedrooms and media walls. Alongside this, we operate a busy plumbing and heating company. Providing excellent customer service, practical solutions, and beautifully designed interiors.
We are now looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior / Trainee Kitchen & Interior Designer to join our team. This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who wants hands‑on experience, training, and the opportunity to grow within the business.
Key Responsibilities- Design & Planning
- Learn and use CAD software to design kitchens, bedrooms and media walls
- Create detailed plans, layouts and visual concepts for customers
- Work closely with senior designers to develop design skills and product knowledge
- Customer Interaction
- Handle new enquiries and follow up on leads
- Assist customers in the showroom, offering guidance and product information
- Attend site visits to take accurate measurements and gather project details
- Follow up with previous customers to ensure they were satisfied with their experience and identify any further support or services they may need
- Mobility & Site Work
- Travel between our two showroom locations as required
- Visit customer homes to measure and assess spaces for design work
- A full UK driving licence is essential
- Business Support
- Answer incoming calls for both the kitchen company and the plumbing & heating company
- Take customer details, log enquiries and book jobs into the system
- No plumbing or heating knowledge is required — this part of the role is purely administrative and involves gathering basic information
- Provide general office and showroom support as needed
- A positive, eager‑to‑learn attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Interest in interior design, kitchens, or home storage solutions
- Basic computer skills (CAD experience is a bonus but not required — full training provided)
- Confident use of Office 365 (Outlook and Excel)
- Ability to work Saturdays as part of the regular schedule
- Full UK driving licence
- Full training in CAD design software

This is a trainee/junior position designed for someone at the beginning of their design career. The starting salary offered will reflect experience, age, and training requirements, with progression available as skills develop. We welcome applications from younger candidates (18–20). Full‑time hours: 5 days per week, including Saturdays.
