I’m working with a well-established London construction and refurbishment contractor to find an experienced Senior Project Manager. This is a business that sits between a large corporate contractor and a more agile, relationship-led firm. They have the structure, reputation and project quality of an established business, but with a collaborative culture, strong leadership team and a genuine passion for the work they deliver.

Projects typically range from £1m–£10m+ and include listed buildings, museums, historic estates, conversions and high-end refurbishments, mostly across Central London.

They’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong, stable career history with clear progression
  • Has come through a reputable contractor or consultancy background
  • Can lead complex projects from inception through to completion
  • Is confident managing programme, quality, safety and commercial delivery
  • Builds genuine client, consultant and stakeholder relationships
  • Can lead, mentor and get the best from project teams
  • Is commercially sharp and confident around variations, risk and change
  • Brings energy, ownership and passion, not just process

Heritage or listed building experience would be beneficial but not essential, and they are open to both trade-qualified and degree-qualified backgrounds. Personality, consistency and long-term fit matter just as much as technical experience.

If you’ve built a strong career in project delivery and want to bring that experience to a business that is growing, values its people and works on genuinely interesting projects, I’d love to hear from you.
