Residential Conveyancer | Full Time 9-5 | Southport/Hybrid | £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
You will be one of three residential conveyancers working in a busy and expanding conveyancing department.
About You
You will be a Licensed Conveyancer or Solicitor with a minimum of three years' post-qualification experience in a similar role. You will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of residential conveyancing work.
What will your role look like?
- Handling residential property transactions from instruction to completion
- Drafting contracts for sales
- Identifying title issues and raising/dealing with enquiries
- Dealing with all aspects of transfer of equity including managing clients and lender requirements
- Dealing with planning enquiries
- Undertaking mortgage redemptions.
- Maintaining the Leap database system
- Liaising with the accounts department to ensure swift transactions
- Dealing with searches
- Providing regular updates to clients
- Dealing with the land registry portal (requesting documents/sims & registrations)
- Completing SDLT Applications using HRMC website
Are you the right person for the job?
- Licensed Conveyancer or Solicitor
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel with relevant keyboard skills
- Able to work without an assistant.
