About the Quantity Small Works Estimator:
- Create all small works estimates within the business.
- Collect client feedback and attend site meetings as and when required.
- Liaising with the Helpdesk team daily.
- Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects and small works.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
- Analyse drawings and specifications.
- Calculating the cost of materials, transport, labour, and equipment hire.
- Researching and assessing information from a variety of sources to prepare accurate estimates.
- Assessing the levels of risk on projects.
Skills Required:
- Minimum 2 years previous experience.
- Ability to work on own or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Experience of working within a fast-paced environment - flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads.
