PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
\n
The overarching purpose of the role is to increase the sales of our outstanding and profitable events and to support the Head of Sales in achieving the company’s targets and objectives to ensure the long-term growth of the business. The Event Design Managers are responsible for driving revenue growth by cultivating and closing new business opportunities. They will act a brand ambassador for BESPOKE, ensuring the highest service standards within our client relationship management.

The occupant of this role will also be expected to take a lead role in the design process of our commercial events and champion ‘design’ as a key selling point for BESPOKE as a company.
\n
Contributing to the positive development of the business in all areas, helping to enhance the company’s brand, services, and products to further elevate Bespoke’s position in the market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
\n
Responsibilities of Event Design Manager - Commercial Sales include, but are not limited to:
\n
- \n
- Developing a creative response to client briefs through visually appealing and accurate proposals to pitch to clients, which will accord with our desire for Bespoke to be renowned in the industry for its creativity and innovation. Utilising AI and our in-house visual design team to visually sell our designs to the client.
- Foster long-term relationships with clients, vendors, planners and industry partners by attending and representing BESPOKE at client and venues meetings and industry events and showcases
- Remain ‘ahead of the curve’ in terms of developments in ‘Event Design’ and stay informed on trends in luxury events, and to help and mentor other members of the Sales Team in this regard.
- Track and update sales information using internal CRM and other software and provide regular reports to the leadership team
- Increase the number of events we do, year on year, at our Unique Venues of London.
- Attending client meetings and site visits as deemed appropriate to help convert business or to strengthen client or venue relations.
- Managing and reporting on a budget for each event and ensuring all information required by the Finance Manager is correctly filed.
- Briefing the Operations Team regarding a detailed technical specification for each event to ensure that our technical team have all the information they require – in a timely fashion – to enable them to deliver their work to the very high standards required by the company.
- Work alongside the Event Operations team to deliver live eEvents on-site to the very high standards required by the company and our clients.
- To work with your clients to wherever possible encourage the booking of multiple events.
- To always wear appropriate business attire.
- To be flexible in terms of working hours, as business demands can often change at the last minute and the job will require work at weekends and in the evenings.
- Perform other activities and duties that the company may occasionally and reasonably request.

RESOURCES:

- The Event Design Manager (Commercial Sales) will enjoy the support of the Head of Sales and other Event Design Managers as well as the Event Operations team. The Director of Commercial Sales will also provide support.
- The resources of the team will be available – currently Head of Commercial, Head of Sales, Head of Venues & Partnerships, Head of Event Operations and the Event Operations team, Studio Manager, Finance Manager, Production & Scenic Teams and Visualiser and Graphic Designer.
- The company will ensure that the Design Office is Chiswick is well resourced in terms of equipment, facilities and amenities and your input into this is required.
- We will establish a training budget for all staff and encourage personal development.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

- Eight years experience in event planning required
- High level of design / creativity
- Basic understanding of production
- Proficient using Apple & PC
- Organisational and coordination skills
- Excellent time management
- Strong ability to work to strict deadlines under pressure
- Exceptional written & verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to lead a team
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to run 4 events per month solo
