Requirements

The ideal candidate for this position should possess outstanding team management skills, strong knowledge of HR practices, and good financial acumen. At least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role is required, along with knowledge of rooms management and food & beverage operations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading a team to meet performance and operational targets. Since this is a small team, a hands-on approach to operations is essential. Any employment offer will be subject to satisfactory references and a DBS check.

Duties Will Include

  • Planning and implementing long-term strategies to enhance business potential.
  • Regularly communicating business performance, highlighting successes and potential risks, and taking appropriate action.
  • Controlling costs across departments, encouraging correct stock ordering, and minimizing waste.
  • Managing, encouraging, and developing employees to achieve high hospitality standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety, food safety, fire safety, and COSHH legislation.
  • Handling employee relations professionally and legally.
  • Coordinating sales initiatives and monitoring their effectiveness.
