The Great Western Hotel in Oban is looking for a Reception Manager to lead their front desk team. This is a full time role with a competitive salary and a chance to work in one of the most recognisable hotels on the esplanade overlooking Oban Bay.

You will make sure every guest receives warm, efficient service from the moment they arrive. You will oversee day to day operations at the front desk, support your team, and ensure the booking and reporting procedures are followed properly to help maximise room revenue. You will welcome guests and handle enquiries at the desk and over the phone. You will guide your team and help with training and development where needed. You will keep the reception area organised and presentable throughout the day. You will maintain a good working knowledge of the hotel and the local area. You will work closely with other departments to keep information flowing smoothly. You will make sure legal requirements and company policies are met.
