We are looking for an experienced and organised Reactive Maintenance / Helpdesk Administrator to join our growing team on a part-time, remote basis. This is a fast-paced role supporting reactive maintenance and property operations on both commercial sites and within the social housing sector.

Location
Remote / Work from Home occasional travel may be required for client meetings, inspections, and operational support.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of reactive maintenance and void works across commercial and social housing contracts. Working closely with operatives, subcontractors, clients, and internal teams, you will help ensure works are raised, managed, completed, and invoiced efficiently.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has previously worked within social housing maintenance, voids, or repairs administration and is confident working in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing reactive maintenance and void work orders
- Scheduling and coordinating operatives and subcontractors
- Raising and processing jobs through MRI / Dynamics / Trackplan
- Reviewing and checking SOR (Schedule of Rates) codes
- Supporting void inspections and maintenance planning
- Liaising with clients, tenants, site teams, and operatives
- Monitoring job progress and ensuring service levels are met
- Handling invoicing and general maintenance administration
- Maintaining accurate records and job updates
- Supporting the wider operations team with day-to-day coordination
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience within reactive maintenance
- Experience working within the social housing sector
- Strong understanding of SOR codes (Schedule of Rates)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Confident liaising with operatives, clients, and colleagues
- Good IT and administration skills
- Experience using MRI / Microsoft Dynamics
- Experience carrying out or supporting void inspections
- Knowledge of repairs and maintenance processes within housing contracts
