Cover Supervisor

• Following all school safeguarding policies and procedures., Please note that this is not a teaching position. The role of a Cover Supervisor is primarily focused on providing supervision and support in the absence of regular teachers.

Bespoke Education is seeking proactive and confident Cover Supervisors to join one of our long standing Client Schools. Located in a supportive and welcoming school community, you will step into the classroom to ensure smooth and effective learning in the absence of teaching staff. This role offers the chance to make a real difference, working closely with students across a variety of subjects while gaining valuable classroom experience in a vibrant educational setting.

Do I need to be a qualified teacher to work as a Cover Supervisor?

No, you don’t need to hold Qualified Teacher Status to work as a Cover Supervisor. There are no specific qualifications required, however previous experience teaching or working with children are preferred., * You hold a valid DBS that is registered with the Update Service, if not you must be willing to apply for one.

• You possess a degree (desirable, but not essential).

• You have excellent communication skills and can quickly form rapports.

• You can use your initiative.

• You have previous experience working with children between the ages of 11 – 16.

• You are confident in dealing with discipline issues in the correct way.

Rate of pay is always discussed and confirmed prior to any booking and is dependent on skillset, length of assignment and experience, however, will range between £90 – £100 per day.
