About the Role
BugBusters UK Limited, a bespoke commercial cleaning company, is seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee and coordinate cleaning operations across multiple client sites. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on service delivery, team management, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations & Service Delivery
- Oversee cleaning operations across multiple contracts and sites
- Ensure services are delivered in line with contract specifications and company standards
- Conduct regular site visits and respond promptly to operational issues
- People Management
- Manage Site Managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders and Cleaning Operatives
- Support recruitment, rota planning, training, performance management and disciplinary processes
- Promote a positive, high-performance working culture
- Client Management
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients
- Handle client queries and complaints professionally
- Attend client meetings and support service improvements
- Quality, Health & Safety
- Carry out quality audits and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents and staff performance
- Administration & Reporting
- Monitor staff hours, stock levels and site documentation
- Submit regular performance and operational reports
- Oversee inventory control and ordering
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Service Manager / Operations Manager role
- Background in commercial cleaning or facilities management preferred
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing ability
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety and cleaning standards
- Ability to manage multiple sites in a fast-paced environment
- IT literate (Microsoft Office, scheduling systems)
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
