BCS connect are currently working with a highly respected civil engineering client who are looking for an experienced Site Agent in Kent to manage civil engineering projects.
You will be an experienced site agent with experience of managing civil engineering projects with a main contractor and have previous experience on Highways, Earthworks and Structures projects.
Duties Include;

Management of site staff operatives and sub-contractors.

Provide method statements, hazard risk assessments and project management plans.

Understand tender allowances and monitor contract costs against agreed budgets.

Preparing and monitoring programmes of work.

Assessment and engagement of sub-contractors.

Manage design co-ordination
Requirements;
- A relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BENG) or equivalent and up-to-date SMSTS Qualification and appropriate CSCS Card
- Be able to maintain and monitor works against a programme and budget
- Ability to prioritise own workload
- The ability to forecast cost and programme
- Maintain comprehensive records
- You will have experience in the civils sector, working with the NEC form of contract and significant main contractor experience
