BCS Connect are working with an established client who is looking to recruit 6 experienced Shopfitting Supervisors to join their growing team on a series of nationwide retail refurbishment projects. This role is ideal for supervisors with a strong shopfitting and joinery background, including 1st & 2nd fix experience, who are confident managing teams on fast-paced retail fit-outs. Projects will initially be based around the Milton Keynes area, with further nationwide travel required following completion of the initial programme.
The Role
As a Shopfitting Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing nightshift retail fit-out projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising shopfitting and interior fit-out works on site
- Managing tradespeople, subcontractors, and installers
- Reading and interpreting drawings, plans, and specifications
- Monitoring project progress against schedules and deadlines
- Ensuring work meets quality standards and client requirements
- Conducting site inspections and resolving installation issues
- Enforcing health & safety regulations and site compliance
- Managing snagging lists and final handovers
- Maintaining clear communication with site teams and management
Requirements
Candidates must have previous experience in:
- Shopfitting
- Retail or commercial interior fit-out
- Joinery/carpentry
- Supervising site teams on fast-track projects
Essential Qualifications:
- CSCS Gold Card
- SSSTS
- Strong 1st & 2nd Fix Joinery experience
