Construction Project Manager – Modular, Sustainable Housing
A pioneering sustainable modular housing company is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their growing team. With a strong pipeline of projects, this role is perfect for someone passionate about innovative, high-quality, and environmentally conscious housing solutions.
The Role
- Lead and manage construction projects from RIBA Stage 1-7
- Prepare project briefs, execution plans, and BIM strategies
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure all technical and design requirements are met
- Work closely with the commercial team to manage budgets, contracts, and cost plans
- Develop construction programmes, track resources, and manage risks and issues
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, health & safety, and environmental standards
- Provide written progress reports to the Operations Director and clients
- Manage project teams and coordinate activity across multiple stakeholders
Ideal Candidate
- Degree or HND in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or similar
- Proven experience in construction project management, ideally in modular housing or sustainable building
- Strong knowledge of BIM, project management tools, and construction processes
- Leadership skills with experience motivating and managing teams
- Good understanding of building regulations, sustainability, and health & safety
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- CSCS card and a full UK driving license
