Our client is looking for a Senior HR Specialist to spearhead a long-term cultural transformation within a world-renowned, international design practice. Reporting directly to the HR Director, you will act as a pivotal leader, bridging the gap between high-level strategy and complex employee relations. You will be capable of designing bespoke solutions that respect the unique heritage of the practice while helping to evolve our future. This is a truly strategic role where you can leave a lasting legacy. You will be supported by a leadership team that has already secured buy-in for change, providing you with the platform and the resources to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will lead strategic culture change, working closely with the HR team to analyse employee engagement surveys, identify core themes, then propose and implement long-term structural and cultural shifts to the Board of Directors and People and Culture Council.
- You will lead on complex employee relations, taking full ownership of high-level ER cases and providing expert guidance and mentorship to a team of HR Advisors on day-to-day requirements.
- You will build deep trust with Board Directors and senior stakeholders to ensure continued buy-in for people-led initiatives.
- You will work closely with the People & Culture Council—a group of senior representatives dedicated to being the mechanism for authentic change, ensuring the employee voice is heard and you get buy-in for change at all levels.
- You will create tailored programmes that fit the specific rhythm of our business, ensuring changes are integrated smoothly without disrupting the creative flow.
Skills and Experience:
- You will be able to create strong relationships at all levels, able to influence at the C-suite level while remaining accessible and inspiring to the wider team.
- You have a track record of leading change management and strategic HR projects in complex, international organisations.
- You are a specialist in complex employee relations, comfortable handling sensitive matters with discretion and commercial acumen.
- You can turn data and survey feedback into actionable, long-term strategies.
- You are an empowering manager who can inspire and mentor the broader advisory team reporting to you.
- While experience within Architecture or high-end design is a significant advantage, we welcome applicants from other sectors who can demonstrate how their skills translate to a niche, creative environment.
