We are looking for a Bid Specialist to manage complex, international, and multi-disciplinary bids for a top London practice. Working closely with the New Business lead, you will have a pivotal role in ensuring every submission meets the high standards expected of this global business.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for managing the bid pipeline and coordinating delivery of a high volume of quality submissions across the world.
- You will rigorously manage budgets and forecasts, collating information from suppliers and external collaborators.
- You will bring a fresh perspective to the team, allowing you to input and improve existing processes, mentor the team, and identify opportunities for growth.
- You will be an excellent writer, producing content yourself, reviewing and editing the team's submissions, ensuring the brand tone is consistently applied and coaching others to do the same.
- You will maintain and grow the bid library and resources in collaboration with the other offices.
- You will build strong relationships with all involved in the bids process - your team, the practice leadership, sector champions, and collaborators.
- You will report bid status to senior leaders with a clear understanding of timelines, priorities, risks, and resourcing.
Skills & Experience
- You will have a track record of producing work-winning bids and competitions in architecture, engineering, or construction industries.
- You will be an editorial pro - able to write, proofread, and provide feedback on submission copy to achieve brand tone and content quality.
- You will have outstanding organisational skills and work well within a deadline-driven environment.
- You will be a great communicator - tenacious, personable, and resilient, navigating the realities of the bidding world with diplomacy and persuasion.
- An APMP qualification would be an excellent addition.
