An established, design-led architectural practice is seeking an Architect/Senior Architect to join its growing Manchester studio. This is an opportunity to take a leading role on a significant £50m commercial office development within one of Manchester's most exciting regeneration areas. The successful candidate will join a close-knit team and take ownership of a major project entering technical delivery stages, working alongside experienced project stakeholders and a supportive studio leadership team. This role would suit an architect who enjoys complex projects, thrives on responsibility, and is confident leading teams through detailed design and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and delivery of a large-scale commercial office development.
- Manage project information and coordinate multidisciplinary teams through RIBA Stage 4 and beyond.
- Work closely with the Studio Director and wider project team to ensure successful project delivery.
- Produce and oversee high-quality technical documentation in Revit.
- Coordinate consultants, contractors, and client requirements throughout the delivery process.
- Mentor and support junior team members working on the project.
- Attend project meetings and contribute to design and technical decision-making.
Skills & Experience
- Qualified Architect with demonstrable experience delivering large-scale commercial or workplace projects.
- Strong technical and project delivery expertise.
- Excellent Revit proficiency.
- Experience leading projects through technical design and construction phases.
- Ability to quickly familiarise yourself with an existing project and take ownership of delivery.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
