Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Architectural Technician to join their growing architectural team based in Manchester.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, including large-scale cladding remediation schemes alongside residential, commercial and mixed-use architectural projects.

The successful candidate will play a key role in producing high-quality technical information using Revit, working collaboratively with architects, consultants and contractors to deliver compliant, buildable design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed technical drawings, models and construction information using Revit.
  • Assist in the delivery of cladding remediation projects, including the development of compliant façade and external wall solutions.
  • Support the design and technical delivery of a variety of architectural projects across multiple sectors.
  • Prepare planning, Building Regulations and construction drawing packages.
  • Coordinate information with structural, MEP and specialist consultants.
  • Ensure designs comply with current UK Building Regulations, relevant standards and project requirements.
  • Attend project meetings and assist with site inspections as required.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of BIM standards and project documentation.
  • Work collaboratively within project teams to meet programme deadlines while maintaining high technical standards.

Skills & Experience

  • Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
  • Experience working within a UK architectural practice.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit, with the ability to produce accurate BIM models and technical drawing packages.
  • Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing.
  • Experience working on cladding remediation, façade, or technical delivery projects is desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of RIBA work stages and construction documentation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
