An established multidisciplinary design practice is looking to appoint a BIM-savvy Architect to join its growing Manchester team. The practice works across a broad range of public sector projects including courts, prisons, education, and wider civic schemes, alongside emerging commercial opportunities across the UK. This role would suit a technically strong Architect with solid Revit capability and experience delivering complex UK projects within collaborative, multidisciplinary environments. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with internal disciplines and contribute across all stages of project delivery on nationally significant schemes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to BIM-led project delivery across public sector schemes
- Produce and coordinate technical design packages using Revit
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors
- Support project delivery across multiple RIBA stages
- Assist with design coordination, technical detailing, and compliance
- Participate in client meetings and stakeholder coordination
- Contribute to the development of BIM workflows and project standards
- Support delivery of technically complex refurbishment and new-build projects
Skills and Experience
- ARB registered Architect
- Strong Revit and BIM coordination skills
- Experience delivering UK public sector projects such as justice, custodial, education, or civic buildings
- Good technical knowledge and understanding of UK Building Regulations
- Experience working across later RIBA stages and technical delivery
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- Previous multidisciplinary consultancy or large practice experience preferred
- Candidates based in Manchester or those in the South looking to work from one of their satellite offices
