A respected architectural studio with a strong design identity is looking to appoint a bid & graphics specialist to support its growing team. The practice delivers a wide mix of work across the residential and commercial sectors, spanning contemporary new developments as well as the careful adaptation of heritage buildings. Their ethos centres on crafting environments that elevate everyday life, nurture communities, and promote design excellence.
This role is central to the studio’s business development and communication efforts. Working closely with senior leadership, you will lead the production of persuasive bid submissions, polished client-facing presentations, and visually coherent marketing material. You’ll play a key part in maintaining the practice’s visual standards and helping to shape how their work is communicated both internally and externally.
Strong creative skills, clarity in communication, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines are vital. The ideal candidate will bring experience in bids, marketing and/or graphic design within the architecture or design industries, combined with a proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver visually engaging submissions, proposal documents, presentations, and other promotional materials.
- Create, update, and manage document templates to ensure consistent branding and easy use across the practice.
- Uphold graphic standards and quality control across all outputs, ensuring alignment with the studio’s visual identity.
- Support senior team members in developing visual content for digital channels, including website updates and social media assets.
- Maintain an organised library of brand resources – such as project imagery, film, staff CVs, and key messaging – to assist bids and marketing activity.
- Research relevant award opportunities and assist in preparing entries.
- Coordinate project photography when required.
- Provide occasional administrative assistance to the wider team.
- Genuine interest in architecture and design, paired with a creative and forward‑thinking mindset.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent design judgement and a refined visual sensibility.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with the architectural bidding process or similar industry experience.
