Job Description
We are seeking a talented Associate Architect to join a leading London studio. This is a leadership role for a driven architect with a balance of strong design flair and proven delivery experience. You will contribute to shaping significant projects across commercial, retrofit, and hospitality sectors, leading teams and working closely with clients to deliver innovative, high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design teams through all project stages, from concept to completion.
- Oversee the delivery of complex architectural projects, ensuring quality, budget, and programme objectives are achieved.
- Contribute strong design direction and foster a collaborative, creative studio culture.
- Build and maintain client relationships, representing the practice with confidence and professionalism.
- Mentor and support junior designers, sharing knowledge and experience.
- Engage in practice-wide initiatives to support growth, innovation, and design excellence.
Skills & Experience
- ARB registered architect (or equivalent international qualification).
- 8+ years’ post-qualification experience with a track record of leading projects.
- Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity and rigour.
- Proven experience delivering projects at various scales, particularly in commercial, retrofit, and hospitality sectors.
- Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of UK planning and building regulations.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
