Our client is a leader in the commercial furniture market, with a global presence. They employ over 400 people and manufacture their own products, using local and international suppliers and makers.

The mission of this role, as A+D Sales Manager, is to promote the brand and products among architects, design and build companies (D&B), A&D firms, and interior designers. Your aim will be to build relationships within a specific network of contacts, identify market opportunities, and develop tailored commercial solutions. There will be opportunities to travel overseas, as well as attending industry networking events on a local front.

Key Responsibilities
  • Increase the brand presence through strong relationships with key influencers in the office furniture market.
  • Develop strategic relationships with architects, design & build firms, interior designers, and other sector professionals to identify collaboration opportunities in construction and design projects.
  • Develop strategies that unite dealers and designers, encouraging dealers to carry out specified operations.
  • Provide technical advice and consulting on furniture solutions and products that best meet project-specific requirements.
  • Organize presentations and training sessions.
  • Collaborate closely with design and product development teams to actively manage the showroom, identify improvement opportunities, and adapt products.
  • Participate in trade fairs, industry events, and conferences to promote the brand and products, and establish key industry contacts.
  • Manage projects from initial planning to final installation.
  • Strengthen the dealer network.
  • Regularly follow up with potential and existing clients to ensure questions are addressed and needs are met.
  • Conduct regular visits to construction sites and developing projects to assess furniture needs and provide tailored recommendations, in addition to organizing factory visits and serving as the tour coordinator.
Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Additional training in Sales, Project Management, or Digital Marketing is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years in B2B sales, preferably in furniture, architecture, interior design, or construction sectors.
  • Proven experience in business development and relationship management with high-level clients, ideally with an existing network of contacts.
  • Project management experience from planning to execution.
  • Deep knowledge of furniture products and design solutions.
  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.) and project management tools (MS Project, Asana, etc.).
  • Ability to prepare and present detailed proposals and budgets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Spanish language skills would be an advantage.
