About the role
Are you a highly skilled Fabricator looking for a long-term, permanent role where your craftsmanship is truly valued? We’re recruiting for an experienced and versatile fabricator to join a well-established business in the Aldridge area. This is not a repetitive production role — you’ll be working on bespoke projects, adapting materials and producing high-quality fabrications to complex designs.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and complex design specifications
- Fabricating components from a variety of materials to high standards of accuracy
- Adapting, modifying, and reworking materials to meet bespoke project requirements
- Working on one-off and custom builds
- Measuring, marking out, cutting, and assembling materials
- Using a range of fabrication tools and workshop machinery
- Carrying out MIG and TIG welding where required
- Supporting fitting and assembly of completed fabrications
- Working with wood and mixed materials on specialist projects
- Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
- Collaborating with design and production teams
Skills & Experience Required
- Fully experienced Fabricator / Metal Fabricator / Skilled Tradesperson
- Strong ability to read and work from technical and engineering drawings
- Proven experience working on complex and bespoke fabrication
