About the Role
As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will assemble mechanical components and finished products using engineering drawings, hand tools and power tools while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical parts, sub-assemblies and complete products.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and build instructions.
- Use hand tools and power tools accurately and safely.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections on completed assemblies.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Work to production schedules and daily targets.
- Follow all health & safety and company procedures.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing.
- Ability to read engineering drawings or technical diagrams.
- Confident using hand tools and powered assembly equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
- Reliable, punctual and team focused.
- NVQ / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing (desirable).
