Sloane Square, SW3 - Central London. A lovely family with two children is looking for an experienced full-time Laundress to start ASAP.
Working days and hours: Mon to Fri, 10am to 6pm (with flexibility to sometimes work Saturdays instead of Fridays if/when needed). They already have a Housekeeper, so your duties will primarily be laundress duties. Flexibility is important in their household.
The client travels at least 3 months a year, during which time you will only work 3 days a week but you will be paid in full.
Duties for the laundress:
- All laundry including all bedsheets
- Dealing with different fabrics
- Tailoring (shortening, cutting etc)
- Sewing
- Hand washing
- Ironing
- Steaming
- Organizing wardrobes
- Going into storage and bringing out seasonal clothes while storing last season's clothes
- Packing and unpacking
- Dry clean errands
The client is looking for someone who is very experienced, flexible, respectful, and child-friendly as they have a 6-year-old and an 8-year-old (no childcare needed but someone who is happy to work in a household with children).

- Good English.
