Two full-time live-out Housekeepers – Chelsea

A wonderful private household in Chelsea is looking for two experienced Housekeepers to join them on a permanent, live-out basis.

The principals are a husband and wife with no children and no pets. Their current Filipina Housekeepers have been with them for an exceptional 28 years and are now retiring, so the family is looking for two excellent, long-term replacements.

The property is a large four-storey, five-bedroom home, and the successful candidates must be highly experienced in private household housekeeping and confident cooks (simple, healthy meals).

Duties

1. Full housekeeping of the property to a high standard
   
2. Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the home
   
3. Laundry and ironing
   
4. Care of clothing and household linens
   
5. Simple, healthy home cooking
   
6. General household organisation
   
7. Working alongside the other Housekeeper to ensure the smooth running of the home
   
8. Occasional additional duties/overtime as required
   

Working days & hours

Approximately 9:30am–6:30pm, with some flexibility required. Mon to Fri with each housekeeper working 2 Saturdays a month, however this can be discussed further.

Saturday flexibility may also be required, as well as occasional overtime.

Travel

A small amount of domestic travel (UK) is required. The household spends time at their country residence in Hampshire during July and August, and the Housekeepers may be required to accompany them.

Separate accommodation will be provided in Hampshire.

Start

Anytime between now and March 2027. They can wait for the right person until March 2027 the latest (as that's when the current Housekeepers finish with the client)

Requirements

1. Significant previous experience as a Housekeeper within private households
   
2. Strong housekeeping and laundry/ironing skills
   
3. Confident with everyday cooking and preparing simple, healthy meals
   
4. Professional, discreet and trustworthy
   
5. Flexible and willing to work as part of a team
   
6. Non-smoker
   
7. Ideally a full driving licence – this is not a MUST but at least one of the two Housekeepers must be able to drive
   
8. A car will be provided for work purposes
   
9. Looking for a long-term, permanent position
   

Benefits

Salary

£50,000–£60,000 gross per annum, depending on experience

PAYE position.
