Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Carpenter located in Weston-Super-Mare. As a Lead Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing and overseeing carpentry work on various projects, including framing, finish carpentry, and the use of power and hand tools. You will ensure the quality and timely completion of projects, as well as coordinate with other team members and subcontractors as necessary.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in carpentry, framing, and finish carpentry
• Experience with power tools and hand tools
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Relevant certifications and a valid driver’s license are a plus
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the carpentry and construction industry
• CSCS card required
