We are currently recruiting for a driver for a private family based in London. You will be responsible for the safe transportation of the principal and their family, covering all logistical aspects for the family, running errands and driving a range of different vehicles. As part of a team of three you will provide all round support for the family so flexibility is key to this position.

Job Role

  • You will be providing a service to a family with children, ensuring that they reach school, appointments and engagements in a timely manner.
  • You will have a good working knowledge of the London area and be able to navigate without using assistance.
  • You will be available to assist with ad hoc duties to include running errands and dog walking.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is fit for purpose and maintained.
  • You will be required to drive multiple vehicles including left hand drives and a small minibus.

Package

  • Competitive salary of £65,000 - £70,000 DOE plus bonus.
  • Benefits – after probationary period our client offers private health and dental and pension comprehensive scheme.
  • 40 – 45 hours max per week – Shifts will be 7am – 2pm or 2pm – finish. In line with legislation you will not be expected to drive for more than 4 hours with a 45 minute break.
  • Shifts will be across the week and weekends mornings/afternoon or afternoon/evening. Weekends are an essential part of this role either on a rota basis or every weekend with time off in the week – 5 days out of 7 per week.

Job Requirements

  • You will have an excellent track record of working within a similar role.
  • This is a client facing role so you will need high level soft skills and be well presented at all times.
  • We are looking for a team player, who is able to do what is right by the family.
  • You will be honest and upfront and if any issues arise they will be dealt with promptly and effectively.
  • Good administrative and organizational skills.
  • Minimum 3 years verifiable employment direct with a client.
  • Education A-level and above is desirable.
