Job Description

CAD Technician West Yorkshire - LS27£32,000 - £36,000 per annum (DOE)Full-Time | Permanent We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced CAD Technician to join a well-established and growing engineering business specialising in aluminium, steel and timber products for the transport and manufacturing sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented CAD Designer , Technical Draughtsperson or Engineering Design Technician looking to develop their career within a supportive and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities Produce and amend accurate 2D CAD drawings for aluminium extrusion dies.

Create technical drawings for customer quotations and manufacturing.

Provide technical support to the Sales and Production teams.

Ensure all drawings are accurate, manufacturable and meet customer specifications.

Utilise Fusion 360 and Auto CAD LT to produce high-quality designs.

Support prototype development using 3D printing technology where required.

Maintain drawing records and documentation in line with company procedures.

Skills & Experience We're looking for candidates with experience in one or more of the following: CAD Technician CAD Designer Technical Draughtsperson Design Engineer Engineering Technician Essential Skills Proficiency in Fusion 360Experience using Auto CAD LTExcellent attention to detail Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills Desirable Experience within the metal industry , aluminium extrusion or manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of engineering or production processes.

Experience with 3D printing or prototype development.
