Job Description
Bespak are looking for a Maintenance Engineer for the Kings Lynn site, PE30 2JJ. The salary range for this permanent, onsite role is between £50k and £53k plus a discretionary annual bonus.Our generous benefits package includes 28 days leave plus bank holidays, 8% company pension contribution to employees 3%, onsite parking and medical / dental / health / life assurance.
Working Pattern – 4 on 4 off –Mon 6am to 6pm / Tue 6am to 6pm / Wed 6pm to 6am / Thu 6pm to 6am Fri+Sat+Sun+Mon off – Start the next shift on Tue at 6am for your next 4-day pattern.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our advanced manufacturing equipment, including cam-driven assembly systems and robotic injection moulding machines. Your role will involve a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs, where you will conduct root cause investigations to prevent future failures. You will also support equipment installation projects, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and provide technical advice to the manufacturing teams. You will perform these duties in our modern, clean, and temperature-controlled facility. This all takes place within a company that has an outstanding health and safety culture, ensuring all work complies with the highest standards.
As a Maintenance Engineer your duties will include:
- Completing reactive repairs and root cause investigations.
- Scheduling and carrying out planned preventative maintenance.
- Assisting with equipment installation, debug, and validation.
- Identifying and proposing continuous process improvement opportunities.
- Providing technical advice and support to manufacturing teams.
- Ensuring all work complies with strict H&S regulations.
Maintenance Engineer, preferred key skills and experience:
- Experience of working in a fast moving, manufacturing environment
- Level 3 engineering Apprenticeship / HNC or degree (or equivalent).
- Experience with PLC, HMI, and pneumatic control systems.
- Ability to use drawing manuals and circuit diagrams.
- Experience of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Knowledge of vision, printer or laser marking systems.
