About The Role

Bespak is looking for a Line Leader in Drug Product Development. This is an onsite 18-month, fixed term maternity cover position for the Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE. The salary for this role is £38,051 Other benefits you will receive are 25 days leave plus bank holidays, discretionary annual bonus, generous 10% pension contribution, onsite free parking, and medical / dental / health / life assurance.

Working Pattern – Monday to Friday usual working times of 8:30am to 5:00pm with an 8:30 am to 3:45pm finish on a Friday. There is some flexibility on start and finish times.

As a Line Leader, you\’ll be the go-to person for your team, leading them in the production of high-quality pharmaceuticals. You\’ll be responsible for ensuring production schedules are met, all while maintaining compliance with regulations and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) safety standards. You\’ll be involved in the exciting process of developing new production processes and ensuring a smooth transition from development to commercialization. Your expertise will be key in investigating any issues that arise, finding solutions, and continuously improving processes to maintain top-class efficiency and quality.

As a Line Leader your duties will include:

  • Leading and developing a team of operators.
  • Maintaining production schedules and ensuring high customer service.
  • Developing new production processes and training.
  • Conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensuring compliance with GMP standards and safety protocols.
  • Managing stock and inventory control.

Holmes Chapel is a beautiful village in Cheshire with excellent transport links via its railway station on the Crewe-Manchester Line, proximity to the motorway network and Manchester Airport. The National Parks of the Peak District, Lake District and Eryri (Snowdonia) are within easy reach. The village has a population of nearly 7,000 and offers various amenities, including supermarkets, shops, restaurants, schools, and a GP practice.
