As a Senior Process Engineer, you’ll provide technical leadership for the design, optimisation, validation and continuous improvement of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. You’ll set process engineering standards that enable safe, reliable and sustainable manufacture, while driving improvements in efficiency, yield, quality and production capability. You’ll lead investigations into process deviations and manufacturing issues, applying strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills to deliver effective solutions.
You’ll lead process engineering activities across capital projects, process development, scale-up and technology transfer, working with internal teams, customers, suppliers and external engineering partners. From process design, equipment specification and engineering deliverables through to commissioning, qualification and process validation, you’ll ensure projects are delivered to the required technical, commercial, GMP and regulatory standards. You’ll also act as a subject matter expert in process safety, supporting HAZOP, LOPA and FMEA activities and ensuring risks are identified and appropriately controlled from the outset.
We’re looking for a Chemical or Process Engineer with 5+ years’ experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, ideally pharmaceutical and preferably with pMDI or aerosolised drug delivery experience. You’ll bring strong knowledge of cGMP, process validation and process safety, alongside experience leading capital projects and managing technical deliverables and external resources. A confident leader and mentor, you’ll champion safety, quality and continuous improvement while working collaboratively and living Bespak’s values of being customer focused, respectful, collaborative and agile.
