Bespak are looking for Dispensary Operatives for a fixed‑term contract until December at their Holmes Chapel site (CW4 8BE). The salary for this role is £34,199 plus shift allowance, a discretionary annual bonus. Benefits include 25 days leave plus bank holidays, a 10% pension contribution, onsite free parking, and medical/dental/health/life insurance.
Shift Pattern
5D3S rotating pattern (37.5 hours). Shifts: 1:50pm‑10pm, 5:50am‑2pm, 9:50pm‑6am.
Responsibilities
- Perform dispensing and sampling tasks, ensuring compliance with HSE and cGMP standards.
- Prepare and provide materials in the required format.
- Support dispensing operations with accurate documentation.
- Handle loading, drying, and off‑loading of Sodium Cromoglicate (SCG) powder using the Hosokawa Dryer.
- Execute specialist dispensing using isolator techniques.
- Maintain adherence to cGMP and HSE regulations to uphold a compliant environment.
- Carry out area and isolator cleaning to pharmaceutical standards.
- Manage environmental monitoring systems, ensuring area integrity is maintained.
- Weigh liquids and solids.
- Complete batch paperwork.
Qualifications & Experience
- GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Strong team player with the ability to adapt to change in a fast‑paced environment.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and manage stress constructively.
- Consistently meets targets with a proactive, customer‑focused approach.
- Demonstrates accountability, openness to feedback, and willingness to seek guidance when needed.
- Minimum of 12 months’ experience in dispensing and cleanroom environments.
- At least two years’ experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in basic fault finding and minor mechanical adjustments.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and schedule activities.
