Bespak is looking for an Aerosol Packing Operator for their Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE (a 15-minute walk from the train station). The annual salary for this role is £34,977.17, (paid weekly) and includes a shift premium and handover payment. The position is for an initial 6-month temporary contract but could develop to a permanent contract, dependant on performance and business needs. Shift Pattern – Rotating 3 shifts / Week 1, Monday to Friday – 2pm to 10pm / Week 2, Monday to Friday – 6am to 2pm / Week 3, Sunday to Thursday – 10pm to 6am. As a Packing Operator, you'll be responsible for packaging pharmaceutical products following specific procedures. You'll operate various packing equipment, complete necessary documentation, and handle stock movement. A commitment to safety, compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, and a focus on continuous improvement is important for success in this role. Active participation in teamwork and ethical accountability are also crucial to ensure smooth operations within the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. As a Packing Operator your duties will include: * Pack finished pharmaceuticals adhering to specific standards. * Operate specialized testing, assembly, and packaging equipment. * Complete all documentation accurately. * Manage stock movement and ensure product accountability. * Perform safety checks, support audits, and maintain compliance. * Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
