What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide engineering support across a range of projects with a focus on Safety, Health and Environment, Project Control, Procurement, Site Matters and Quality.
  • Work closely with the client and project team, manage elements independently where required, implement the company’s Safety Management System (including Electrical Safety Management), support the Project Manager in achieving zero accidents.
  • Prepare construction programmes, monitor and report progress, maintain strict cost control, agree arrangements with service providers, organise subcontractors, manage Duty Holder responsibilities.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day electrical installation, review RAMS, coordinate disciplines, inspect works, manage technical submissions and conduct testing in a Qualified Supervisor capacity.

What you’ll bring:

  • ONC/HNC in Building Services / Electrical Engineering discipline (desirable).
  • NVQ C&G level 3 in electrical installations including 2391.
  • Thorough knowledge of electrical systems and installation work.
  • Knowledge of BMS control systems.
  • Strong grasp of electrical standards, good workmanship and best practice.
  • Willingness to learn other industry‑specific systems incorporated in the electrical sub‑contractor package.
  • Ability to understand design principles and carry out design associated with minor changes.
  • Minimum safety training to SMSTS standard.
  • Conversant with CDM regulations and able to operate at senior level as principal contractor.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical and healthcare markets, particularly laboratory and cleanroom construction.
  • Working knowledge of company safety and quality procedures.
  • Minimum 10 years’ industry experience.
  • IT literate and experienced with Microsoft Office, Outlook and Project.
  • Familiarity with design packages and tools (Amtech, Dialux, Navisworks, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • IOSH Managing Safety qualification.
  • Knowledge of Mechanical services.
  • Preferred experience in turnkey project delivery.
