Our infrastructure division is crucial to the safety of key civil infrastructure across the UK and beyond. Our specialist team are experts in completing thorough inspections on critical structures such as railway bridges and accessing challenging locations.
To be considered for the Stores Manager position you will be based near our site in either Stoke or Livingston.
As a Stores Manager for BES Infrastructure, you will be responsible for all plant, equipment and storage areas within a defined location and issue/receipt processes. The Stores Manager will ensure compliance with regulations, legislation and company policy and procedure for all equipment nationally by providing proper storage and movement of items between sites.
You will also:
- Carry out periodic statutory inspections of lifting and work equipment (inc. LOLER, PUWER)
- Carry out regular checks and maintenance of all specialist access equipment, where competent to do so
- Manage the timely supply/issue of equipment to operational teams including the preparation of vehicles where required
- Clean and service all equipment and maintain it in a state of readiness for operational use
- Liaise and work with Stores Managers in other offices, providing cover as necessary
- Maintain relationships with equipment providers, hire companies and service providers

To join our team, you will need:
- Experience working with safety critical or access equipment either operationally in the field or in a Stores Management capacity
- Ideally, experience of managing an asset register
- Experience with basic vehicle maintenance
- Experience of managing plant and equipment including MEWPs, Boats and Scaffolding desirable
- UK Driving license
