Our Heavy Lifting Solutions division is an exciting place to be, consulting on and supporting some of the most complex lifting operations at high‑profile customer sites and overseeing the execution of those lifts. This role supports multiple projects across the UK and requires willingness to work away every week, with flexibility for travel and location.
As a Mechanical Lifting Engineer, you will provide independent and impartial advice during the planning and execution phases of projects. Core responsibilities include:
- Understanding project briefs and ensuring the highest level of Health and Safety is adhered to at all times.
- Working as part of the project team and ensuring common operational procedures are followed.
- Liaising with Project Managers to keep them up to date.
- Reviewing all projects received, identifying issues, and working with contract partners prior to work commencing.
- Utilising reporting software to accurately record all required documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with HPC Health and Safety policies, procedures and Lifting Standards, including spot checks on project teams.
- Consistently providing an exceptional level of customer service while representing the company professionally.
