The predicted salary is between 50000 - 55000 £ per year.
What will you be doing:
- Undertake tunnel and structural examinations independently, acting as Examining Engineer where required.
- Deliver technical inspections, investigations and surveys, providing engineering review and assessment across infrastructure assets.
- Lead on Tunnel Examinations and other complex inspections, ensuring compliance with standards and best practice.
- Coordinate teams and manage inspection programmes, including planning methods, access and sequencing.
- Produce high-quality examination reports and monitor progress, identifying and managing delivery risks.
- Support project delivery and team development, including client engagement, supplier coordination, mentoring and acting (or working towards) as a Delegated Engineer.

Qualifications:
- A Degree, HND or HNC in Civil Engineering.
- To hold STE2 and STE6 competencies.
- PTS (Personal Track Safety).
- Strong experience in infrastructure or structural engineering, including inspections, examination and maintenance.
- Proven ability to manage your own workload and contribute to programme delivery.
- The ability to mentor and support junior engineers and examiners.
- Willingness to travel nationally.
- To be medically fit for rail work and hold the appropriate railway medical.
- Full UK Driving License.
