As a Business Development Manager for the BES Group, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Testing Division sales team, you will be responsible for developing a sales strategy for your industry sector. Our expert team employs a range of non-destructive and destructive techniques. Whether your clients are looking to ensure product excellence or need precise material testing for other applications, you will help work towards BES Group goals.
You will:
- Lead and contribute to the winning of new customers; including making presentations, engaging in negotiations, ensuring follow-up and production of necessary documentation.
- Prospect new contacts within your specified division.
- Become an active member of the Group, working within the team to develop new service and product sales opportunities.
- Deliver sales of products and services throughout the group ensuring consistency with the strategic plan, embracing a solution sales approach.
- Meet or exceed the BES Group growth strategy and utilise technologies and sales programmes to quickly increase market share.
- Understand customer business drivers and goals and keep up to date with customer’s businesses.
- Develop relationships at decision maker levels within a customer’s organisation.
- Be fluent in discussing scope of services, availability and throughput at all levels.
- Develop high value solutions for the customer pains using the product portfolio.
- Proactively use the CRM tool to maximise effectiveness.
- Deliver monthly sales forecasting and an annual budget forecast.
- Analyse market trends and report back into the business.

To join our team, you will have:
- Experience in the field of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) in either sales or as a NDT Engineer.
- Knowledge of the regulations within the Engineering Inspection and compliance market.
- Highly effective sales, communication and presentation skills to deliver results.
- Vast amount of prospecting experience.
- Comfortable in presenting proposals to clients.
- Excel in relationship building, influencing and negotiating.
- Excellent attention to detail, working with detailed proposals and CRM systems.
- Experience working directly with customers and in the customer environment.
- A track record of developing sales functions and exceeding revenue retention and growth expectations.
